About Us

Membership Composition

GPRN members include both interested individuals who are self-nominated and organizational representatives. Many organizations across the globe are invested in improving Paediatric emergency care. Efforts have and will continue to be made to ensure all relevant organizations are invited to participate. Additionally, national leaders with long-standing engagement and interest in systems-based Paediatric emergency care improvement efforts will be included as subject matter experts.

Co-Leads will initially include at least two members from different countries who agree to provide oversight to the GPRN. Initially leaders from the Paediatric Emergency Research Network (PERN) and the National Paediatric Readiness Project (NPRP/U.S.) will serve as co-leads. Term limits are not established and will depend on needs of the GPRN. The need for more structured governance, committee composition and progression, and/or a process for electing Co-leads will be assessed annually in January.

An Executive Team composed of no more than 15 international subject matter experts including the two co-leads who will provide guidance for the overall GPRN activities and at least one representative (when available) from each global region: Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, Latin America, and the South Pacific.
